I’m trying to make a concerted effort to post more often here. It must seem like I’m doing much of nothing when I’m not posting. Not true!
A lot of the time I’m busy with graphics work for clients. I do layout design for other knit and crochet designers, all of which takes up a lot of time. So yes, there’s less stitching going on over here at Chez NexStitch but at least the work is stitch-related. Now, if I only had enough work to keep me busy for 14 hours a day, I could quit The Day Job and do graphics full-time and design on the side. I guess I should have bought a mega millions ticket! (Yes, I’d still stitch and do graphics if I won the money. I like being creatively challenged).
On my plate right now are a couple dozen patterns to lay out as well as two booklet projects, one of which I’m hoping to talk about sometime soon (no, not my designs but something…special). That’s all you’re getting!
I also laid out an older pattern of mine (previously published elsewhere) that I’m hoping to take step out pictures of real soon and publish rather quickly since it’s all laid out except for the step-outs.
And, I’ve been fooling around with some lace-weight yarn and a tunisian hook. Again, that’s all you’re getting!
