I was psyched yesterday when Mr. NexStitch hooked up a wire in my car to run from my car stereo to my new iPhone so I could use the iPod feature of the phone and have the audio play out of the car speakers. Now, I can listen to podcasts instead of morning talk radio (which I was seriously sick of). No one wants to show up to work already stressed out from listening to the doomsday style program offerings in the AM.
So I’ve been on a rat race to find some interesting podcasts to listen to. Mary Beth Temple’s, podcasts have been waiting in the wings on my iTunes on the Mac for so long, so that was a given.
On my ride to and from work, I was able to listen to two of them. I caught interviews by and Cari Clements. Both were fabulous. It was quite interesting hearing Cari talk of her work with Rwanda Knits. And listening to Drew talk about growing up in a crochet and crafty friendly home was quite inspiring. If you haven’t checked out either show, I recommend both.
I’m a big fan of connecting the ol iPhone to the car stereo. It really makes longer drives barable.
