I finished off this design a few weeks ago but I had no means of posting my pictures. Without further ado, here they are!
I’m very pleased at how this bikini turned out. While it’s only a SC stitch throughout, it was a pain to get it the exact size and shaping I wanted it to be. It’s an ultra low-rise bikini bottom with fuller coverage in the back. The top is open in the bust, but provides excellent coverage on the sides.
I’m thinking about selling this pattern with some optional motifs that can be sew onto the top and/or bottoms for added decorative detail. What do you think about that idea?
I’m also working on a handbag for my mom in which I used my pattern, but in browns. I also added a change purse that I’m still working on. I’m also working on lining the bag with fabric. Pictures to come!
