Long time, no speak. I’ve been super busy between getting ready to move (and dealing with all the junk required to buy a house) and also the start of a new school year. Didn’t mean to ‘leave you flat’ as we’d say when I was a kid.

The only thing I’ve had a chance to finalize was the top to that bathing suit several of you have asked about. Here it is:

I actually went back and frogged the bikini and re-did the cup and edging. Now, the cup is truly CURVED to fit a woman’s shape. It’s being designed as though a surfer girl would wear it, so some coverage on the sides is important. Also, I had started the edging and negated doing the top part the same way as the sides. Now, the pattern is written so that all the straps are made at the same time, as opposed to making them seperately. I’m really proud of how SOLID this bikini looks. The straps really make the diffrence:

As for the bottoms, I’m still working on them. I’ve frogged them three times. I’m so picky. Everything I do has to be done just right. If I don’t like it, it doesn’t make it to the  I’ll let you know when I’ve made some progress there.

Oh! And I’ve decided to call this one, “Surfer’s Citrus Bikini.” What do you think?
