So last month I bought a new chair from Pottery Barn for the little nook in my office. But it seems that kitty thinks it was purchased for her lounging amusement.

Get comfortable, will ya?
Half the time, I hardly have the desire to kick her out because she looks so darn cute all cuddled up in a ball.
I’ve yet to use the chair for its intended purpose: to watch tv and crochet in my office.

This was probably Nap #14 of the day.
I don’t think I’ll get the chance anytime soon. I’ve threatened to put a ball of yarn and a crochet hook in her hand and submit the photo to stuffonmycat.com but she won’t budge.

Angelic, isn't she?
Loved this! My cat does the same thing to me, planting herself firmly in the middle of my twin-size bed, letting me know she has the exclusive on napping around here. She has also been known to take up residence in my computer chair as soon as I get up for a bathroom break or coffee refresher. When I return, as I’m contemplating how to evict her from my real estate she gives me a stare that says “I double-dog dare you!”
They are lucky they are so cute!
Goldi, Roxie does the same. If I or my husband get up from our spot, she’s in it quickly. She loves to take over our office chairs and gives that same look when we try to evict her.
