Free Crochet Patterns
These comprise many of the crochet-related questions we receive:
"I am working on this blanket and I'm stuck with this one row. The directions say to...can you help?"
No. Please understand that we need to spend our time coming up with all of the great patterns, videos, and articles on NexStitch™. The best place to ask these questions is at where many super friendly people will be happy to spend time answering anything you ask.
"If I pay you, will you make me a pattern of my choosing? With a Disney or other famous brand name character or logo on it? Can you get that to me ASAP? Let me know when it's done."
Firstly, we appreciate you thinking of us, but we do not take requests for patterns. Ideas for garments are based on inspiration. Secondly, it is illegal to reproduce a likeness of a brand name character, logo, etc. We expect visitors and customers coming to our site to respect our copyright policies in the same regard as we respect copyright law. Please do not as us to break the law!
"I like your patterns. Are they free and can you please send them to me at this address..."
At the bottom of every pattern page, there is a link that says, "Buy Now!" for those patterns which are for sale. However, we do have a few free patterns here.
"I have created a pattern I would like to offer for your site. Can you post it?"
All NexStitch™ patterns are created expressly for our website. We do not accept submissions, free of change or otherwise due to the nature of the legalities involved, and for the fact that this site is owned, operated, and maintained by the designer, and showcases the designer's patterns. We do recommend you submit it to a paying outfit such as Annie's Attic or Crochet! Magazine, which will further assist you in publishing your work.
"I would like to learn more about crochet. Please send me literature about it. My address is..."
All the information we have about crochet is on the website. We have free crochet videos and articles for you to download and view.
